Youth in Profile

This charming silhouette shows a boy with short blonde curls wearing a skeleton suit with a row of buttons running down it over a white stock tied in a knot.

The profile is finely painted in black and translucent shades of grey with Chinese white used to highlight the neck tie and the coat buttons. A needle has been used to scratch in the texture and detail of the hair.
