Dating to the 1770s, this attractive little portrait shows a lady with piercing blue eyes and a dimpled chin wearing a décolleté blue dress edged with a white and gold trim that matches the white and gold patterned cloth threaded through her upswept and padded hair. It is set in a gold frame that is enclosed on the reverse.
