Wearing his apron and leaning heavily on his stick, the celebrated Old Match Man of Brighton has been drawn from life by an unknown hand in 1828.

Pen, ink and watercolour within an embossed border with a manuscript title and verse set in a period reeded frame. The frame is nicely patinated as befitting this striking and unusual piece of street art.
