May We Be Happy

Bilston enamel stud boxes were often commissioned to be gifted as personal love tokens. This little box has a pink ground; the pull-off lid has a border of raised dots circling the motto ‘May we be HAPPY’.

The box is in good condition with just a small chip to the internal white enamel under the brass rim.
