Baby on a Cushion

A precious and enchantingly small portrait of a baby laid on a royal blue cushion trimmed with gold braid. The child appears to be just a few weeks old and is wearing a pretty white dress tied with a pink satin sash with a matching lace cap decorated with a pink ribbon bow. Fine condition.

Set in the original gold bracelet frame. The frame lacks the top clasp fitting and is lightly scratched on the reverse. Otherwise it is impossible to find fault with this delightful portrait.
