A Golden Cross

With romance on her mind, this young lady is shown against a blue sky background wearing a frothy pink and white lace evening dress with a gold cross on a ribbon necklace and a large white rose on her corsage. Her hair is drawn back and looped on the nape of her neck.

The portrait is in excellent condition and is presented with a decorative mount within a daguerreotype case. The case is also in excellent condition and retains the original Littlefield, Parsons & Co. label behind the portrait.
